3 Tier Slip On Dress

I saw a picture of a little girl in a white dress that had three simple ruffle tiers and I thought it was so cute I decided to make it for Barbie.  The base of the dress is made in a tube shape with no opening.  Then the three tiers are added to the dress base.  It is loose so it just pulls on with no need for any fasteners.  This is a very simple dress and works up very quickly.

MATERIALS

Size 10 thread in pink
Size 10 thread in variegated pinks/white
Size 6 (1.8 mm) steel hook

GAUGE

If you work a couple of rows and the dress fits around the widest part of doll easily then you're golden.  If it is too small, go up a hook size.  If it is too big, go down a hook size.

I really like your patterns. I wish you posted pictures of the back of the outfits along with the front.

To anonymous,
LOL! The reason I do not usually show the back of the dress, is because I only pin the clothes in place instead of sewing snaps on! I know, I am LAZY! But I will try to include more pictures of the back from now on.
