Here is the pattern for the leggings.  I am not the happiest with this pattern, but I like to try new and different way of doing things so I will keep trying until I make a pattern for pants that I really like.  These leggings are crocheted from side to side in one piece and then they are crocheted together starting from the bottom of one leg, going up the pant leg and across the crotch and then down the other leg.  Also, I made them to be really tight so if little hands are going to be using these pants then I suggest that you add 2 (or more) rows to each leg section to make them a little looser and easier to get on.

Superfine sock weight yarn in cream
Size 1(2.75 mm) steel hook
1 sew on snap
I did not keep track of gauge for this project as it is very stretchy and has a lot of give.  Also it is easy to keep fitting the pants to the doll to determine if you should add more rows or not.
Row 1:  With cream yarn, ch 12, dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in each ch across. (10 sts)
Row 2:  Ch 36 (first leg), sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 7 chs, hdc in next 12 chs, dc in next 15 chs, dc in BACK LOOPS of next 10 dcs, turn.  (45 sts)
Row 3:  Ch 2, working in BACK LOOPS only, dc in  next 24 sts, hdc in next 12 sts, sc in  last 8 sts, turn.  (45 sts)
Row 4:  Ch 1, working in BACK LOOPS only, sc in next 8 sts, hdc in next 12 sts, dc in last 25 sts, turn.  (45 sts)
Rows 5-10:  Repeat rows 3 and 4.  If you want the leggings to be looser add desired amount of rows in multiples of 2.
Row 11:  Ch 2 (counts as first dc), dc in BACK LOOPS only of next 9 sts. (10 sts)
Row 12:  Repeat row 2 for second leg.
Rows 13-20:  Repeat rows 3 and 4.  If you added rows for first leg, add same amount of rows for second leg.
Row 21:  Ch 2 (counts as first dc), dc in BACK LOOPS only of next 9 sts, turn.  (10 sts)
Row 22:  Sl st in next 10 sts.  Do not fasten off yet.
Row 1:  Ch 1, 2 sc in end of each dc row, turn.  (42 sts)
Row 2:  Ch 1, sc dec over next 2 sts, sc in next 38 sts, sc dec over last 2 sts, fasten off.  (40 sts)
Holding piece with RS together, sc first leg together starting at ankle and working up the leg.  Sc across crotch making sure to overlap back left and back right so that you are crocheting through 3 layers..  Sc second leg together.  Fasten off.
Sew snap to back opening.
