4th of July Bikini

As promised, here is the pattern for the binkini.  Tomorrow I will post the pattern to the red and white top.

Gauge

10 sc = 1 inch, 10 sc rows = 1 inch

Materials

Size 10 thread in Blue
Size 10 thread in Red
Size 10 thread in White
Size 6 (1.8 mm) steel hook
Approximately 65 rhinestones (2 or 3 mm)
Jewel glue
3 sew on snaps

Note:  Do not fasten off red or white unless specified.  Carry thread along side of work and cover these threads later as you work the edging.

Note:  I always like to crochet in the back ridge of the starting ch as it prevents the holey look.

Note:  Anytime I say RS facing, that means whichever side you like best.

Note:  Rhinestones are optional.  I liked the look, but it was a lot of work.

I'm about to sew the bikini bottom but don't know how many stitches (single crochet) should I leave for the leg space and the sew snap.

MCEA, I just sewed the right back of the panty evenly lined up with the right back of the waistband and same with the left side. I don't know how many stitches that leaves in the leg opening, but I don't think that matters. What matters is that you sc the same amount of sc around each leg opening and just overlap the back for a snap. If for some reason there is not enough overlap (there was for me), then sc a couple of rows around back opening. I hope this helps.

I was wondering...
Do you use the same Barbie for each picture you take?

Yes I do use the same one or two Barbies in each picture I take. I am not a big collector of Barbies, I just enjoy making clothes and furniture for them...lol.

I made the bikini in gold metallic #10 thread and it is gorgeous! Your patterns are genius!
